Save a named version

Mark a moment you will want to find later, like before a big change, by saving a version with a name.

Automatic checkpoints are great for small undos. When you reach a moment worth marking (a client approval, or just before a big redesign), save a named version so it is easy to jump back to.

Save a version

  1. 1In the editor, click Save version.
  2. 2Type a clear name, for example "Before the redesign" or "Client approved v1".
  3. 3Click Save version to confirm. It jumps to the top of your History.

Name versions after decisions, not the date. The date and time are recorded for you automatically.
