Restore an older version

Go back to any earlier point. Your current state is saved first, so you can never lose your place.

Restoring is safe. Before it rolls the page back, Coedit saves whatever you have right now as a new version. So you can always undo the undo.

Restore any entry. Your current state is saved first.

Roll back

  1. 1Open the History panel in the editor.
  2. 2Find the version you want to go back to.
  3. 3Click Restore next to it, then confirm.
  4. 4The page rolls back to that version, and your previous state is kept as a new entry in case you change your mind.

Since restore never throws away your current state, you can safely peek at an old version: restore it, look, then restore back.
