Edit text and style on the page

Click something on the live page and change it, the way you would in a slides tool. No code at all.

The canvas is the live preview of your page. In Edit mode you click a thing and change it right there. If you have ever edited a slide, this will feel familiar.

Edit mode: click an element and a small toolbar appears to change text and style.

Make a change

  1. 1Open your project. On the preview, click the ✏️ Edit button to turn on Edit mode.
  2. 2Click the thing you want to change: a heading, a sentence, a button.
  3. 3To change the words, just type. To change how it looks, use the little toolbar that appears: bold (B) or normal, bigger or smaller (Aβˆ’ / A+), left/centre/right, and colour.
  4. 4Click an empty area to finish. Your change is in.

Changed too much? Click the ⨉ style button on the toolbar to clear the styling you added to the selected thing and put it back the way the page had it.

You never press Save for canvas edits. They save on their own, and you will see All changes saved near the top.

Every canvas edit also updates the underlying code, so if you ever open the Code tab you will see the same change there.
